Slovak Gold Foundation

Was established in June 1994. Founders are:

Federation of Employers’ Associations of the Slovak Republic
Danubiaprint, š.p.
Ing. Miroslav Behúň
Mgr. Jozef Sitko

The purpose of Foundation is general support of growth of competitiveness of production in the European market disregarding the country of its origin in order to support social-economic development, protection of the environment, protection of consumers and health, development of cultural and spiritual values and increase generally quality of life. Foundation concentrates mainly on the following activities:

  • Professional assessment of production quality,
  • Granting of Slovak Gold Certificates for above the standard products and services,
  • Protection of consumers against low quality production of different origin,
  • Promotion of production of the above the standard quality via the Slovak Gold Brand and building a favourable relation of public towards consumption,
  • Appreciation of extraordinary results of creative activities in the field of science, technology, research or culture,
  • Appreciation of important personalities and institutions for their extraordinary contribution for the benefit of Slovakia,
  • Support for increase of quality and ethic of doing business,
  • Creation of better conditions for placement of production of above the standard quality in EU markets.
